Pineco 5348 is a liquid product that inhibits corrosion and scale, performing an effective anti-encrustation and dispersing action for cooling and process circuits that use water with high hardness.

It is recommended wherever there is a need to prevent the formation of deposits that reduce heat exchange and make the formation of passivation status impossible.

Beyond the stabilization limit an amorphous precipitate is obtained which does not form any hard deposit and can be easily removed. This sludge can easily be removed from the normal purging of the cooling tower. Pineco 5348 is effective in a pH range between 7 and 10.

How to use

The dosage of Pineco 5348 depends on many factors: concentration cycles; chlorides, temperature, hardness, sludge content, retention time, etc.

The guideline dosage is 20 g / mc on the restoration water.

Pineco 5348 can be used pure or diluted with demineralized water and inserted directly into the reintegration pipe or tower basin, in a point of good turbulence, through dosing pumps with components resistant to acids.
